LIFE IS NOT THE WAY IT'S SUPPOSE TO BE. IT'S THE WAY IT IS. THE WAY YOU COPE WITH IT IS WHAT MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE!

Ok so my last post to feel pretty much caught up for now is about something that just happened this past Sunday. I was getting ready for church, and the kids were downstairs with Wes, getting some breakfast. All of a sudden Nathan came running upstairs saying that Wes had fallen on the floor in the kitchen and was having a seizure. I went running down there and Amy was sobbing, and sure enough Wes was in the middle of a seizure. This has been a common occurrence recently, so I knew the drill. The thing that was scary though, was that Wes still felt like he needed to go to church. I kept telling him he was crazy, and to stop pushing himself. If anything, he needed to go to the hospital, not church. But, he insisted. So, I sent the kids off to church with Gene, (our awesome neighbor) and I finished up my lesson, and waited for Wes to get ready. He was trying to tie his tie, and had tried several times apparently. All of a sudden he started sobbing and said that he couldn't remember how to tie his tie. I was scared, but of course I didn't want him to know. I just held him in my arms, and tried to calm him down. He went into the bathroom, and came out a few minutes later and had it tied. I don't know if it was right, but it worked. We went to church, and made it just in time for the sacrament. After the sacrament, they turned the time over for testimonies. Wes leaned over to me and told me that he wanted to go up and bear his, and asked if I could help him walk up to the stand. I thought he was crazy, but he had pushed so hard to get to church, I decided to do this for him. So, we walked slowly up to the stand. He bore an amazing testimony, and had everyone in tears. Right after he was done I took him home, and stayed with him for a little while. I tried to go back to teach my lesson, but I had some really sweet sisters that made me go back home to Wes to take care of him. On the drive home I started sobbing. I have such an AMAZING ward. I am going to have a really hard time leaving it! I feel so right about this move though, and I am just hoping that the next ward will be just as understanding, and just as amazing! I know this church is true, and I know that Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers. Life doesn't always go the way that we always planned, but if we remain strong and faithful, He will give us the strength to get through anything! I feel His hand in my life so much since we have moved down to St George! I am doing so well in school, which is hard to go full time, and work part time, and be a mom, and take care of a sick husband. I have an amazing job, and already have a job set up for after I graduate! Now we are getting an amazing house for a great price! I have a wonderful family! I couldn't feel more blessed right now!

For Easter Saturday we went to the Ivins city park and had a really fast Easter egg hunt. Right after that, Wes and I went looking at houses, while Shane and Alissa watched our kids. It was SO amazing! We found a house that we wanted after just looking at 4 houses! Now that's my kind of house shopping! We were so in love with it that we went to the ward the next day to scope it out before we put an offer down on the house! We love the ward, and every time we go to the house we feel so at home, and fall in love with it even more! We have even met a couple of the neighbors! Soooooo we put an offer on the house the following Monday!!! I took some pics of the house now, but there is some work to be done after we buy it, so I will be posting some "after" pics as well! Easter Sunday, after we went to the ward, we went to Shane and Alissa's house and had a nice Easter dinner, and an Easter egg hunt! So fun to live close to some good friends!

Nathan's birthday was on April 19th, and he turned 6!!! I can't believe how big my kids are getting! So for his birthday, since he didn't get a party last year, I told him that he could invite 3 friends to go to Pirate Island. I had heard of Pirate Island from a few friends, and they said it was a fun place, but they never said that it made you feel like you were at Disneyland!!! We walked in and my kids asked if that's where we were! It reminded us of the Pirates of the Carribean ride! So fun! The waiters were dressed up as pirates, and they even tell you to dress up like pirates if you want to. So, for his birthday, he got some pirate stuff to wear to pirate island. I think that his favorite gift was his cap gun that he got! He invited Jevin, Brave, and Gavin to go to pirate island with us, and all I can say is that I am glad I only have 1 boy! They were crazy! Such a handful!!! It was lots of fun though! We ordered two huge pizzas, and we took our own cake and ice cream. After we ate, and Nathan opened his presents, they all got some tokens and got to play some arcade games. They each got quite a few tickets from the games, and were able to turn them in for prizes! Something else that was really fun was that every so often they had some cannons go off right above our table. Amy got so scared, it was hilarious! Quite a fun place!

Ok so I have a little bit of catching up to do! Last month we had a fun carnival at my college that we went to, and then the next day we had our annual ward party that we also went to. They both had pretty much the same stuff, and they were both FREE! We love free activities! At the carnival they had free dinner, and free snow cones, cotton candy, ice cream sandwiches, fudgecicles (however you spell that) and they also had free activities for the kids! At our ward party we also had a nice feast, and then they had some bounce houses, a train ride, a swing ride, a dunking booth, and a rock climbing wall! What is so awesome is that they block the whole street in front of our Bishop's house to do this party! I am going to miss this ward when it comes time to move! We had SO much fun! It was so hot though at the ward party. It was around 90 degrees, and only the 16th of April! Oh how I LOVE St George!!! We took Loki, and he is not use to the heat. I thought he was going to die there. We carried a cup around for him and kept giving him water. Wes finally found some shade, as it got a little bit later, and camped out in it. After the ward party, we headed over to the Kite Festival (also a fun thing they have every year out here) and the kids each got a free kite, and then we watched some fireworks that lasted a whopping 5 minutes! On our way walking back, Nicole somehow lost her flip flops, which we were SO mad about, and then we got back to the van, and she had left the van door open!!!???? Thank goodness the fireworks weren't an hour like we had planned on, or our battery would have been dead!
